ORDER SIZE UP; SMALL FLAWS, October 22, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Greenland Home Josephine White King Quilt Set (Kitchen) This quilt has a lovely traditional scroll border, and was a great price, and that is why I bought it. However, upon close inspection I found three slightly yellowed areas, about the size of a coin. I treated them with a stain-removing pen, to no avail, but once the quilt was on the bed, I did not even notice. KING QUILT FIT MY QUEEN MATTRESS NICELY.

There were no noticeable "new" smells, but I decided to wash it anyway. There wasnt very much lint in the lint trap and the color didnt fade.
I ordered a king size for my queen size bed. Its a little big, ie hangs almost to the floor on all sides, but I prefer it to be be over sized.

It's not a chemical smell but the smell reminds me of a barn, like fresh cut hay. It's made in China. Other than that, I'm very happy with it. I ordered a king to fit my queen bed as a bedspread and it fits perfectly. The weight is light which is exactly what I wanted for San Diego weather. To me the color is more like a cranberry.
