I purchased the twin size, which is a generous size. It looks better "in person" than online (though the depiction here is very accurate). Putting it in your room makes all the difference.
The colors are subdued and therefore soothing, and the design is very cozy looking - makes you happy to get under the covers. The other side of the comforter is a striking black and white pattern which contrasts with the main side, but does not clash with it at all. The comforter is just the right weight - heavy enough to be warm and cozy, but not so heavy that it's hard to pull off and on the bed.
It was a bit pricey but I think it's worth it to have a comforter you really like, and to have something of quality and comfort.
I have not washed the comforter yet so am hoping that turns out well, but I did wash the sham and that came out great.
