Great color, April 20, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Echelon Soho Dot Egyptian Cotton Queen Sheet Set, Plum (Kitchen) UPDATE: After many many washings these sheets are heaven. I am still giving them four starts because it took about 20 washings to get them that way, however I think it was worth it. They are the perfect blend and they keep me warm but not too warm. They are smooth and now I always feel luxurious (HA!) when going to bed. The color has stayed the same and still is as lovely as ever. Also no rips or tears or any thing of that nature.
I bought these sheets to replace the flannel ones I had that shrank and didn't fit anymore. After the first wash the sheets are still kind of stiff, but I think after a couple washes they will be just fine. We have a large queen and the sheets fit really well, I LOVE the color. Purple is my favorite color and they are just a tad darker than the picture, and have a greyish tint. It isn't a girly purple at all. My husband who is a sheet freak really likes the way these sheets feel. I would recommend them.
