I ordered the king size in ivory, and it's beautiful. I had wanted a duvet cover originally, since I wanted something I could wash, but down comforters are too hot for my husband in the summertime. This is a perfect compromise! We've been using it for a week or so, and I've already machine washed it with great results. It looks like a quilt, and it's not as satin-y as I was worried it would be. Just looks like a high-end cotton quilt. I love the shams, but they are a bit awkward to put on since the zipper is along the bottom and doesn't go all the way to the ends. But otherwise, this is a great product. I look forward to filling it with a duvet in the wintertime.

My only problem was it is extremely heavy. While I was sleeping I could barely move it felt like there were weights on top of me. Any one who might be claustrophobic should consider not purchasing this. It had me sweating pretty seriously and it's the winter, well into the 20's last night. I should not be sweating. My husband is due to come home from his deployment this weekend, I know he is going to hate it simply for that fact. He already overheats at night, let alone with a heavy, heavy blanket on top.

Color is ivory/creamy off-white as pictured on my monitor and not yellow at all. The sheen is understated and not shiny. I have the full/queen. Sizing is generous and overhangs the sides of my bed to the top of my bed skirt (I do not have a feather bed or pillow top mattress). The underside of the duvet is color matched in plain cotton and soft enough to use alone, although I like a sheet and velour blanket to pull on the layers depending on the weather. Making the bed is super easy. Pull up your sheet/blanket and no need to tuck them in as it's all hidden under the duvet. I have a down comforter stuffed in my duvet, but you could easily use this as a coverlet alone in the summer. To stuff it, there is a hidden button closure at one end but no ties inside to hold the comforter in place, the only downside to this lovely set. IMO, it's a duvet that looks like it came from PB or an expensive department store. Not country looking, more transitional in... Read more
